SUBCLASS 010
The Bridging Visa A (BVA) – Subclass 010 is a temporary visa in Australia. In most cases, BVA applications are processed automatically when applying for a substantive visa, and you’ll be notified if this occurs. This visa serves various purposes, including waiting for a substantive visa decision, judicial review, or when seeking a further BVA without work restrictions. However, it cannot be used while waiting for a citizenship application to be decided.
SUBCLASS 020
Bridging Visa B (BVB) – Subclass 020 is a temporary visa that allows individuals to remain lawfully in Australia while their substantive visa application is under consideration or during ongoing judicial review proceedings. This visa provides flexibility for travel and, if conditions permit, work opportunities.
SUBCLASS 030
The Bridging Visa C (BVC) – Subclass 030 is a temporary visa in Australia. It is typically granted automatically as part of the application process for a substantive visa. However, it may be necessary to apply for a BVC separately in specific situations. This visa allows you to stay legally in Australia while your substantive visa application is being processed or during associated judicial proceedings. It is essential to note that a BVC cannot be used while waiting for a citizenship application to be decided.

The Bridging Visa E (BVE), Subclass 050, is a temporary visa that allows individuals to stay in Australia lawfully while they finalize their immigration matters or make arrangements to leave the country.
