The Dependent Child Visa (Subclass 445) allows a child to move to or stay in Australia until a decision is made on their parent’s permanent Partner visa application. The child can travel to and from Australia, work, and study. Once granted, the child must apply to be added to their parent’s permanent Partner visa application. They can also enroll in Australia’s public healthcare scheme, Medicare.
