The Significant Investor Extension Stream Visa (subclass 188) allows existing holders of a Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) Visa (subclass 188) in the Significant Investor Stream to extend their stay in Australia for up to an additional 4 years. This extension provides these investors with an opportunity to continue their investment activities in the country.

- The main applicant’s visa fee is AUD 1,135.00.
- There is also a fee for each family member applying with you:
- Additional applicant over 18 years old: AUD 575.00
- Additional applicant under 18 years old: AUD 285.00
Applicants aged 18 or older with less than functional English, who did not pay a second instalment for a previous subclass 188 visa application, may need to pay an additional charge. This charge is the second instalment and should only be paid when requested. It will be refunded if the visa is not granted.
