Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) is usually a three-year course or can also include a year in industry. The academic qualification which is minimum for gaining chartership in engineering (C.Eng) is the Master of Engineering (MEng) or BEng plus MSc in addition to 46 years peer reviewed professional practice. The Bachelor of Engineering is a pathway to becoming a Chartered Engineer.
