We are not the Department of Home Affairs, OMARA, or any other Australian government agency.

What we collect

When you use this website we may collect your name, email, telephone number, the visa or situation you select, and the message you send. If you book a time, EMC’s own booking product collects the details you enter on that booking page. This website does not store those booking details.

If you become a client, we collect the identity, immigration, family, employment and character information needed to advise you and to lodge with the Department of Home Affairs or a skills-assessing authority.

Why we collect it

Website enquiries are used to reply to you, to offer a consultation, and to keep a short record of what you asked. We do not sell enquiry lists.

Client files are used to provide migration assistance, to meet our professional obligations, and to deal with the Department, tribunals and assessing authorities.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct personal information we hold, or complain about how we have handled it, by telephoning the office or sending a note through the contact form.

If we cannot resolve a privacy complaint, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
