- Have completed 3 months of specified subclass 462 work.
- Not be accompanied by dependent children.

You must:
- Hold or previously have held one Work and Holiday visa (subclass 462).
- If in Australia, hold a substantive visa or your last substantive visa expired less than 28 days ago.
- Have entered Australia on the visa.
- Have complied with all the conditions on your first Work and Holiday visa.
Have enough money:
- You must have enough money to support yourself during your stay in Australia and to cover your departure expenses. Typically, this is about AUD5,000 for your initial stay, plus the fare to your onward destination.
- If you are applying in Australia, you don’t need to provide evidence. If you are applying outside Australia and don’t attach evidence to your application, processing may be delayed if further information is required.
Specified subclass 462 work:
- You must have completed three months of specified subclass 462 work.
Be this age:
- You must be aged 18 to 30 years old (inclusive) when you apply. If you apply for the visa while you are 30 but turn 31 before a decision is made, you can still be granted the visa.
Not had a visa cancelled or an application refused:
- Your immigration history will be considered when making a decision on your application, which means you might not be eligible for this visa if you have had a visa cancelled or refused.
