Successful completion of this course will enhance access to and participation in study at post-Year 12 level by the development of academic literacy and by the development of proficiency in English which is described at Level 3+ on the International Second Language Proficiency Ratings (ISLPR) scale. The ISLPR scale refers to this level as Basic ‘Vocational’ Proficiency Plus.The competencies will enable a person from a Language Background Other Than English (LBOTE).
