Science in psychology is the study of human behaviour, thoughts and feelings while sport and exercise science is the study of the methods and applications of sub-discipline of human movement studies and how they interact. The combination of these two degrees opens up a world of possibilities and professional opportunities. The National body that accredits psychology training, the Australian Psychological Society (APS) has formed a College of Sport Psychologists (COSP) as one of its specialisations. This step in some ways reflects the interest and significance sports and exercise now have in the profession of psychology.
