Broncos vs Jets over the years
Good morning Brandon McManus Jersey , Broncos Country! One of the most amazing yet bittersweet moments came for this rivalry. Of course I speak of the AFC Championship Game in January 1999 when the Denver Broncos hosted the New York Jets at Mile High Stadium. The win catapulted the Broncos to their second of back-to-back Super Bowls but it also was the final home for John Elway. Amazing yet bittersweet. There have been some incredible moments, good and bad, between these two teams. Before the next chapter gets written today in New Jersey, let’s look back at that history, plus what to watch for courtesy of Denver’s weekly release. On the latest MHR Radio Podcast, Adam Malnati and previewed the game. Plus, you can check out my weekly segment with Michael Klahr and Mark Knudson. We talked discussed if Case Keenum was still the right move at quarterback, takeaways from the Kansas City Chiefs loss and my keys/prediction for today’s game (my segment starts at the 24:30 mark). Sunday marks the 36th regular season game between the Broncos and Jets. Denver is 19-15-1 in the series with New York, 11-8 at home and 8-7-1 on the road. Sounds like a trade is near..."According to the Denver Post’s Ryan O’Halloran, Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. told him that he belives “something’s going to happen soon”. It’s likely this means a trade since the Broncos have been fielding trade offers for Harris since his demands were made public last night. 9NEW’S Denver’s Mike Klis says the Broncos are not giving Harris away for nothing, so hopefully they can get something of value for Harris. It makes sense that the Broncos and whoever is making the trade wants to get this done quickly. Any deal likely effects their draft plans for tomorrow night and through the weekend, so sooner the better here. Especially for an All-Pro talent like Harris. As for compensation, I am optimistically holding out for a late first-rounder in exchange for Harris, but a day two selection at least is probably more likely. So stay tuned Mile High Report, we could have some late breaking news tonight or some early morning first-round of the NFL Draft fireworks going down.
